BROOKLINE, MA – The Coolidge Corner Merchants Association (CCMA) proudly announces the launch of its free Lecture Series running from March 25th through April 18th.  All events are open to local residents free of charge, but as space is limited, reservations are recommended.  The individual lectures will be hosted throughout Coolidge Corner sites during the series.  Details on each event, including the location and time is available online at the CCMA website.

A considerable range of information is to be provided by local businesses in this free series. The diversity of lectures is sure to include something for everyone.  Lecture topics include financial, wellness, web site optimization, culinary and style advice.  Whether you need to learn the finer points of preparing for retirement or holistic alternatives for your pet, the series can accommodate.  Participating CCMA members hope to engage as well as inform participants.  A full listing of all CCMA lecture titles is available online.

As this, the third series sponsored by the CCMA, provides residents with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the very best Coolidge Corner has to offer, this year’s event is dubbed the ‘Coolidge Corner Community College Free Lecture Series’.  In addition to a wide selection of seminars, local merchants are also extending valuable discounts to those who attend the series.  By participating in any two or more lectures, residents may select from a list of savings offered by CCMA member businesses.  A full list of discounts is provided online.

CCMA co-chairs, R. Harvey Bravman and Marge Amster, are excited by the new twist on this year’s event.  “The free lecture series has been very popular in the past,” states Bravman, “but this year’s event offers even more to Coolidge Corner residents. It’s a great opportunity for members of the community to come together and expand their horizons, but it’s also a chance to support local business, save money in the process, and have some fun.”
